Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra
"The first time we started singing together in the jam space, it was funny to us, because it was so earnest and goofy. We joked: 'any asshole who dismisses this can go fuck himself'; to us, that felt like stepping on a sparrow."
12 tracks, just a little shy of 2 hours, that cover all of the permutations of Mt.Zion. A balance of instrumental and vocal numbers with a live track featuring a colloboration with the equally monumental HangedUp from the stupendous Constellation roster.
One of my absolute favourite bands working in music today.
